Woodland Park Zoo with Monkeys

We spent the day at the Woodland Park Zoo with my college friend Carrie and her little guy Ben and his baby sister Julia. It was so much fun to go to a different zoo it has been a few years since we ventured up there but I have a feeling we will be going back soon. These three monkeys had a great time!

Chelan 2013

We just returned from a wonderful week in Chelan. The girls had the time of their lives, our days were packed with boating, bike riding, BBQ'ing, fishing, bumper cars, golf, putt putt, waterslides, outdoor movie nights, swimming, sandcastle building the list goes on and on. You name it we seemed to have done it, Bernie and I were also able to get a little kid free boat time thanks to his parents in the afternoons while the girls would nap. I am pretty sure Ella hasn't taken a nap in years but everyday in Chelan she napped wether in the motorhome with Nanny and Gramps or out on the boat, these girls really tired themselves out. They made lots of new friends among Bernie's cousins kids as well as other kids staying at the park. We had some friends there throughout the trip as well, our friends the Dover's were there with us for a couple of days and we spent one day at Campbell's with them enjoying all the amenities (a bit nicer than the city park :) Our friend Jared also came over for a couple of days and the guys golfed Dessert Canyon. All in all a fabulous family vacation now back to reality :(

Five Again

 We had our final birthday celebration with my family for Ella this weekend. It was so fun to get together and spend another day celebrating our big five year old!

Spa ahh!

 Ella celebrated her FIFTH birthday with a spa party. It was so cute to pamper all of the little ladies although they were "relaxed" within 40 minutes or so and were ready to go upstairs and play :) We did do foot soaks, a chocolate oatmeal facial mask, and manicures and pedicures. The girls all wanted the same rainbow finger polish. What a fun big girl party...can't believe my baby is FIVE!
