My attempt at the Hula

We spent ten wonderful relaxing days in Maui with my family and could not have had a better vacation. There were sixteen of us total at one point including my parents, brother and sister-in-law, aunts and uncles and great family friends. The girls had the time of their lives, every day was spent at the beach digging in the sand and jumping and playing in the water. When we weren't at the beach we were at the pool where Ella was practicing her swimming. We had great weather, 85 degrees almost every day except for a few rain showers that quickly came and went it was just perfect. Bernie golfed, I read books on the beach and the kids played until they were completely exhausted every night. I went snorkeling with my brother which was a lot of fun and Bernie and I got a date night at a Luau where I was taught the hula on stage :) Since we have been home Ella has asked every day when we are going back to Maui and I have to say I have been thinking the same thing. Coming back to a high of 38 degrees with possible snow in the forecast is a little hard to adjust to. This will always be a vacation to remember, the time we were able to spend with my family meant so much to us and I know the memories of all of the fun we had will stay with the girls forever!
